voter registration

CNAV emphasizes the need to register to vote at every event, training, and community activity. Every year, partnering organization with community groups, we register New Americans to vote during Naturalization Ceremonies, canvas in low voting turnout communities, and provide detailed information regarding each candidate.

If you would like to volunteer individually, or as a group to help voter registration during Naturalization ceremonies, or in community activities, send an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or call us at 857-246-VOTE (8683).

Being an active and educated voter is key in being an active community leader, supporter, and activist. To be able to register to vote you must be a U.S. Citizen, a Massachusetts resident, and at least 18 years of age by election day. For those who are not eligible, your efforts in driving the community to become engaged is one of the most influential and effective pieces of work you can do as a community builder.

There are several ways for you to register to vote:

  • Visit your city/town hall, community organization, high school, college, vocational school or any registration location and fill out a voter registration or affidavit of registration in-person,
  • Register to vote at a community event, Naturalization Ceremony and mail out the form to your city/town hall
  • Register to vote at a Registry of Motor Vehicles when renewing your driver's license in person,
